Wilton Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Van Kamp in the 4th minute of play. FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Kalak in the 10th minute of play. Wilton Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavies Muñagorri in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Marnix Peten came free, but Luc Van Hinnendael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Xavies Muñagorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luc Van Hinnendael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Rubio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Wilton Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mac Mon in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to FC LEMUREN getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Mickael Volens hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavies Muñagorri in the 21st minute of play forced FC LEMUREN's goalkeeper Wilton Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC LEMUREN's Wilton Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mac Mon in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, FC LEMUREN's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Corrigan came free, but Wilton Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When FC Bruges's Shane Corrigan, in the 25th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC Bruges. Robert Kalak kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When FC LEMUREN's Marnix Peten in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bruges's goalie prevented a goal. Nemesio Rubio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Luc Van Hinnendael made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, FC LEMUREN's goal looked a bit too open when Xavies Muñagorri came free, but Wilton Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilton Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavies Muñagorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mac Mon in the 48th minute of play forced FC LEMUREN's goalkeeper Wilton Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xavies Muñagorri made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Mickael Volens came free, but Luc Van Hinnendael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luc Van Hinnendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Rubio in the 57th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xavies Muñagorri got free with Wilton Cruz in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC LEMUREN's Wilton Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shane Corrigan in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, FC LEMUREN's goalkeeper Wilton Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ken Brogren. Wilton Cruz made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Xavies Muñagorri sent off a good shot on target. Wilton Cruz came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bruges's Mac Mon. But to his dismay, Mac Mon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luc Van Hinnendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Kalak in the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of FC LEMUREN booed when FC Bruges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Verhasselt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th match minute, FC Bruges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shane Corrigan to maneuver through the defense. Wilton Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavies Muñagorri in the 88th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Bruges walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
