Hajrudin Nerminović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Živorad Kočanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 14 played minutes Oraslje got a freekick which was hit by Mehmed Jošić. Hajrudin Nerminović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Živorad Kočanović in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Oraslje defense, Živorad Kočanović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hajrudin Nerminović. The Oraslje fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hajrudin Nerminović should have stopped the shot. Žarko Iskrić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Halil Jokišić in the 24th minute. In the 27th match minute, Oraslje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dženan Peskalj to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Said Stjepanović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Oraslje's Halil Jokišić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Žarko Iskrić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mujo Radiljević to strike the kick off in the second half. Oraslje's Halil Jokišić got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Halil Jokišić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Živorad Kočanović's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hajrudin Nerminović was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Žarko Iskrić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mujo Radiljević in the 61st minute of the match. If Mujo Radiljević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Mujo Radiljević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Žarko Iskrić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Srđan Vignjević was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 88 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the game, one of Oraslje:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vladan Dudićs short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Hajrudin Nerminović to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Živorad Kočanović took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hajrudin Nerminović. Hajrudin Nerminović dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.
