Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Halid Nijazović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lupici's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ruzevci the free kick. The supporters of Ruzevci booed when Lupici was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halid Nijazović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adnan Damjanović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Halid Nijazović in the 29th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Said Sanidović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruzevci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Said Sanidović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bogdan Srna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Said Sanidović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodor Jakirović read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Ruzevci's Bogdan Srna got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 38 minutes, Said Sanidović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruzevci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Said Sanidović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodor Jakirović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Srna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ruzevci's Milandin Osmanagić got a free kick in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Said Sanidović stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Enes Refkić in the 56th minute really tested Teodor Jakirović 's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 61 minutes into the game, Ruzevci's Bogdan Srna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodor Jakirović made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bogdan Srna in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodor Jakirović prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, Lupici's goalkeeper Teodor Jakirović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislav Repčić. A collision led to Lupici getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jakob Branković hit a great ball. Bogdan Srna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Teodor Jakirović skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lupici's Teodor Jakirović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Said Sanidović in the 86th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruzevci's Bogdan Srna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teodor Jakirović . That made the score 1-5 after 90 minutes of play.
