Ivan Nizamović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute Mislav Obrenović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tajko Marković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zakir Islamović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tajko Marković having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Mislav Obrenović had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tajko Marković. FK Sarajevo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mislav Obrenović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mislav Obrenović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Babice's Zakir Islamović got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tajko Marković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zakir Islamović in the 23rd minute of play. FK Sarajevo's Tajko Marković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zakir Islamović in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Advan Hodžić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ale Tojagić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Nizamović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Advan Hodžić received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ale Tojagić came out and tried to block the shot, but Advan Hodžić slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute, Zulfo Grašić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ivan Nizamović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zakir Islamović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tajko Marković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, FK Sarajevo's goal looked a bit too open when Zakir Islamović came free, but Tajko Marković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tofko Sejfović kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Zulfo Grašić lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 57th minute, one of FK Sarajevo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK Sarajevo. FK Sarajevo's Tajko Marković proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save FK Sarajevo from getting a goal against them. Zakir Islamović struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Tajko Marković didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babice. Tajko Marković took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mislav Obrenović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hafiz Ilić kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If Ivan Nizamović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ale Tojagić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Nizamović in the 89th minute of play. Zakir Islamović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Tajko Marković made a huge save. If Ivan Nizamović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Mislav Obrenović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Babice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mislav Obrenović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Babice's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
