Zulko Pelak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lale Mirvić in the 3rd minute. If Dražen Belanić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmed Prljača took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zijahudin Vrhovac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmed Prljača made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dražen Belanić in the 13th minute of play. Đorđe Barbarez charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Đorđe Barbarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 25 minutes into the game, Isfendijar Kerimović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rijecani HRK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zaseok the free kick. Ahmed Prljača showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dražen Belanić, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Dražen Belanić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmed Prljača having to make a save. In the 35th minute, Zijahudin Vrhovac made a precise shot to the right of Ahmed Prljača . Rijecani HRK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 45th minute, Esmin Pezo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zulko Pelak. The goal made the score 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 54th minute, Rijecani HRK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dražen Belanić fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ahmed Prljača took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zijahudin Vrhovac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Rijecani HRK's Ahmed Prljača got control of the ball when Dražen Belanić tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Esmin Pezo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zaseok's Zulko Pelak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Rijecani HRK's Isfendijar Kerimović got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Dražen Belanić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zijahudin Vrhovac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ahmed Prljača tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rijecani HRK's Ahmed Prljača played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zijahudin Vrhovac in the 69th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Dražen Belanić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmed Prljača was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Ezibović during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ahmed Prljača made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zijahudin Vrhovac in the 83rd minute of play. Dražen Belanić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ahmed Prljača made a huge save. Ahmed Prljača showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zijahudin Vrhovac in the 86th minute of the match. Dražen Belanić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zijahudin Vrhovac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ahmed Prljača tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Mile Efendić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rijecani HRK and the Zaseok players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zaseok played a much better game than Rijecani HRK and deserved their victory. The Rijecani HRK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
