Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Miodrag Mešić got the match started through his kick off. Mirsad Mujkanović might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rudolf Arsenović. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mirsad Mujkanović ran back to his position shaking his head. Mirsad Mujkanović struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Rudolf Arsenović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK Željezničar. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Ado Gagula got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 14th minute, Franjo Majdić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miodrag Mešić in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jefto Nakibović saved NK Željezničar from getting behind. In the 18thth minute of the game Miodrag Mešić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK Željezničar's Jefto Nakibović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Rudolf Arsenović managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when NK Željezničar's Mirsad Mujkanović fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 24th minute, Šinaz Nezić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rudolf Arsenović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ado Gagula in the 27th minute of play. Jefto Nakibović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miodrag Mešić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When NK Mostar's Miodrag Mešić in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NK Željezničar's goalie prevented a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ado Gagula to strike the kick off in the second half. Mirsad Mujkanović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of NK Željezničar booed when NK Mostar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miodrag Mešić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miodrag Mešić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jefto Nakibović read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Miodrag Mešić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bogoljub Vajić kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Azim Farisović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 played minutes NK Mostar got a freekick which was hit by Miodrag Mešić. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
