Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Našid Cekalović started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Šefko Brašnić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefto Nakibović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jefto Nakibović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Šefko Brašnić, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuho Sejfić during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Skrgici booed when NK Željezničar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuho Sejfić didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in NK Željezničar's zone, Šefko Brašnić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefto Nakibović came out of the goal and Šefko Brašnić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alkid Sandrić scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jefto Nakibović, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Skrgici's Našid Cekalović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jefto Nakibović narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 17 minutes of play NK Željezničar's Nuho Sejfić was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Nuho Sejfić kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Jusuf Ristić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NK Željezničar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skrgici the free kick. The supporters of Skrgici booed when NK Željezničar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jusuf Ristić didn't get a good kick on the ball. NK Željezničar's Jefto Nakibović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Našid Cekalović in the 27th minute of play. Mirsad Mujkanović scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mersad Vladanović, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edah Velidović hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Mersad Vladanović didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mirsad Mujkanović went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Alkid Sandrić struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jefto Nakibović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skrgici. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When Skrgici's Šefko Brašnić, in the 55th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Skrgici. Jefto Nakibović stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Našid Cekalović's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Našid Cekalović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mirsad Mujkanović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mersad Vladanović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Šefko Brašnić came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Skrgici fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Šefko Brašnić couldn't finish the play. Jefto Nakibović was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Našid Cekalović capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Našid Cekalović really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 87th minute, NK Željezničar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Šefko Brašnić fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Našid Cekalović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefto Nakibović having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Šećer Božić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
