Azim Jakupović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dževad Pečelj in the 19th minute of the match. Josif Bebanić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miro Kadrić's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxim Kulaš in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azim Jakupović saved Vilusi from getting behind. The supporters of Vedovica booed when Vilusi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jugomir Ifetović didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Sodić got free with Azim Jakupović in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Vilusi were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vilusi's goalkeeper Azim Jakupović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emil Cerić lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 59th minute, one of Vilusi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vilusi.
