In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lipica NK's goalkeeper Živorad Hannich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kamber Smajilbegović during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Golisan NK booed when Lipica NK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamber Smajilbegović didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Đuro Kenanović stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Lipica NK's goal looked a bit too open when Enes Musli came free, but Živorad Hannich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Živorad Hannich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ćazim Vlatkić, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 60th minute, one of Golisan NK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Golisan NK. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Lipica NK. Vahidin Lizde stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sirija Gutić. 1-1. After 65 played minutes Golisan NK got a freekick which was hit by Himzija Ferhatović . Đuro Kenanović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sirija Gutić having to interfere. Parip Zulfić's late challenge caught a Lipica NK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Golisan NK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ćazim Vlatkić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fahir Gagula hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enes Musli in the 99th minute of play forced Lipica NK's goalkeeper Živorad Hannich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
