Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Moises Fernandino started the match with the kick off. Luca Scripcaru's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Scripcaru helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Santul FC got a freekick which was hit by Luca Scripcaru. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Povară in the 11th minute of play. Santul FC's Iordache Povară got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Arghir in the 17th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Codruț Vasiloiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 23rd minute. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Arghir in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Santul FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentino Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codruț Vasiloiu made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Marco Tamayo sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Buzescu came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Rareș Arghir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rareș Arghir went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Sebastian Buzescu made the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Buzescu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 53rd playminute. 56 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Codruț Vasiloiu. Santul FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. In the 63rd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Santul FC's Rareș Arghir got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Sorin Deliman fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santul FC's protests and gave Sorin Deliman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, Santul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sorin Deliman to maneuver through the defense. Eugen Jurcuț made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Iordache Povară however managed to control. Sebastian Buzescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordache Povară, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rareș Arghir kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 2-6 in the 89 minute of play. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jesus Carvallo hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Buzescu.
