Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andreas Marschall got the match started through his kick off. If Holger Gerolstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Falkenstein's Andreas Baumann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximilian-Michael Lack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andreas Marschall might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Schoppitsch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreas Marschall ran back to his position shaking his head. Maximilian Paroth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maximilian-Michael Lack. Edelsgrub's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sven Schmitt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Schoppitsch having to interfere. Edelsgrub's Marc Van de Logt got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Schmitt got free with Peter Schoppitsch in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the game, Andreas Marschall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edelsgrub's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falkenstein the free kick. After a rather tough play, Edelsgrub's Andreas Marschall got a free kick in the 26th minute. Gerhard Reuter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Andreas Baumann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Falkenstein booed when Edelsgrub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Van de Logt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximilian Paroth, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Andreas Baumann scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximilian-Michael Lack, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan Ketzer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Peter Schoppitsch made a huge save. Marc Van de Logt kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Holger Gerolstein to make the kick off. Edelsgrub's Maximilian-Michael Lack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Gerolstein in the 53rd minute of play. Tino Veiser struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Maximilian-Michael Lack didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falkenstein. 64 minutes in the game, Holger Gerolstein fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maximilian-Michael Lack having to interfere. When Andreas Baumann, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 65 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Maximilian-Michael Lack was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Andreas Baumann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Andreas Baumann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Marschall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Schoppitsch having to interfere. Falkenstein's Andreas Baumann got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Marschall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Schoppitsch having to make a save. Sven Schmitt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute Sven Schmitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schoppitsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Schmitt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Schoppitsch having to interfere. The Edelsgrub supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Falkenstein's performance. The match ended with a win for Falkenstein.
