After 13 played minutes Pielach FSV got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Teissen. Niclas Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klaus Landgrebe hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Pielach FSV's goalkeeper Benjamin Propst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niclas Fontes. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pielach FSV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niko Braitenbach was slow to take the kick. During this time Gosing FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Klaus Landgrebe heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Sascha Ostwald fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pielach FSV's protests and gave Sascha Ostwald a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Sascha Ostwald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Niclas Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Pielach FSV defense, Niclas Fontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Propst. The Pielach FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Propst should have stopped the shot. The Pielach FSV fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Pielach FSV's Leandro Sandaili looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roland-Nicolas Bähner to make the kick off. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pielach FSV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
