When Arthur Grützmann came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Purworth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Grützmann couldn't finish the play. Ben Gillessen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steffen Kebeis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Kornrumpf in the 31st minute of play. A hard shot 33 in the game by Arthur Grützmann from a close distance when the talented Andreas Meers managed to make a qualified save. LO BERTANO FC's players were relieved. 34 minutes into the match, Julius Kornrumpf notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Purworth's Steffen Kebeis. Steffen Kebeis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arthur Grützmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Moritz Schoppe during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
