Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 7 minutes, Arthur Grützmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purworth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Grützmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tristan Rademacher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Ben Gillessen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purworth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Gillessen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes, Gerhard Vester made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Purworth's Steffen Kebeis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Steffen Kebeis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerhard Vester in the 24th minute of play. Rick Pahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Gillessen, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Purworth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Geißler to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerhard Vester in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steffen Kebeis saved Purworth from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Nitzing FSV's zone, Florian Riess stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rick Pahl came out of the goal and Florian Riess tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Nitzing FSV were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ben Gillessen made the kick off in the second half. Rick Pahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Gillessen, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Tristan Rademacher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Steffen Kebeis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ben Gillessen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rick Pahl was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 69thth minute of the game Gerhard Vester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Purworth's Steffen Kebeis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tristan Rademacher struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Steffen Kebeis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nitzing FSV. Ben Gillessen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Pahl having to interfere. Steffen Kebeis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerhard Vester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Grützmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rick Pahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play.
