Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nick Krammer started the match with the kick off. When Nick Krammer came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Mayerling FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nick Krammer couldn't finish the play. Olaf Gersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Horsky having to interfere. Kai Gieß received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Eduard Horsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Moritz Pengel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard Horsky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Gieß, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Ingo Ausweger notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mayerling FSV's Eduard Horsky. Eduard Horsky was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olaf Gersten hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Kai Gieß sped through Mayerling FSV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eduard Horsky. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingo Ausweger in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduard Horsky prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Lerz's Olaf Gersten got a free kick in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Nick Krammer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayerling FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Nick Krammer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernhard Denniger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Lerz were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingo Ausweger to strike the kick off in the second half. Eduard Horsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingo Ausweger in the 52nd minute of the match. Brandon Hülsmann's late challenge caught a Lerz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brandon Hülsmann helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Mayerling FSV got a freekick which was hit by Brandon Hülsmann. Fabian Landgrebe hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Ingo Ausweger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingo Ausweger in the 61st minute of play forced Mayerling FSV's goalkeeper Eduard Horsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brandon Hülsmann kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernd Pfeifenberger during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Bernd Pfeifenberger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingo Ausweger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Horsky having to interfere. Eduard Horsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingo Ausweger in the 69th minute of the match. Mayerling FSV's Eduard Horsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingo Ausweger in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Jan-Moritz Pengel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernhard Denniger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Nick Krammer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mayerling FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nick Krammer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kai Gieß could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Eduard Horsky made a huge save. After some careless play in the Mayerling FSV defense, Ingo Ausweger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduard Horsky. The Mayerling FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduard Horsky should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute, Brandon Hülsmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Mayerling FSV's goalkeeper Eduard Horsky had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kai Gieß. Felix Bierhoff hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingo Ausweger in the 94th minute of play forced Mayerling FSV's goalkeeper Eduard Horsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lerz's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
