FC Pepsi Cola's Julien Frohlich managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mats Trautwein in the 26 minute of the game. Carlo Jory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Bleile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jürgen Tremmel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, FC Pepsi Cola's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Schwärzler came free, but Manuel Resch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Trabesing fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Trabesing were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Schwärzler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlo Jory could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Manuel Resch made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Welser during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Kevin Welser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Belchior Monteiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jürgen Tremmel. Trabesing's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Belchior Monteiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 71st minute, Manuel Schwärzler reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manuel Resch. The goal made the score 2-3. In the 90th minute Belchior Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jürgen Tremmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Custódio Abreu in the 93rd minute of play forced Trabesing's goalkeeper Jürgen Tremmel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Schwärzler in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Resch saved FC Pepsi Cola from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC Pepsi Cola lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
