Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gordon Eberl got the match started through his kick off. Stefan Lenz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans-Dieter Rasper in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute of the match, Marcus Holst tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stefan Lenz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 5 minutes into the match, Oberthann FC's goalkeeper Stefan Lenz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans-Dieter Rasper. In the 11th minute Marcus Holst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Lenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Lenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Holst in the 13th minute of the match. When Marcus Holst came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Kirche fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Holst couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Tony Velten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dennis Marks didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gordon Eberl went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Hans-Dieter Raspers short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Stefan Lenz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stefan Lenz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Dennis Marks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gordon Eberl, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 38 played minutes Kirche got a freekick which was hit by Nicolai Glenz. With a little luck, Oberthann FC's Stefan Lenz got control of the ball when Hans-Dieter Rasper tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Marcus Holst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Lenz having to interfere. If Gordon Eberl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans-Dieter Rasper in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Lenz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Marcus Holst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Gordon Eberl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gordon Eberl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dennis Marks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kirche getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nicolai Glenz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Oberthann FC's Philipp Gehling got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Arno Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Tony Velten got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tony Velten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oberthann FC's Gordon Eberl got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Tobi Rademacher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kirche's Hans-Dieter Rasper got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Many of Oberthann FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Oberthann FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Kirche were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
