Robin Holst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Björn Wayer in the 12th minute. In the 19th minute, Christian Milch made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Stauff. Manessen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Christian Milch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Stauff. Manessen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Milch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 29th minute Ben Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Stauff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Wayer might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robin Holst. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Björn Wayer ran back to his position shaking his head. Robin Holst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoph Ahlen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Milch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Stauff having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Manessen's Philipp Wolters got a free kick in the 44th minute. The corner led Wagrain FC's Andy Picht to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonas Stauff despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Christian Milch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Ben Schmidt took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Jonas Stauff to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Manessen's Lorenz Klare got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 70th match minute, Manessen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenz Klare to maneuver through the defense. Andy Picht, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ben Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Stauff came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Wagrain FC's Ben Schmidt. But to his dismay, Ben Schmidt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After a rather tough play, Wagrain FC's Leo Gogolok got a free kick in the 81st minute. Ben Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Manessen's Falko Tetzloff got a free kick in the 88th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Christoph Ahlen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manessen's supporters rose to their feet, but Christoph Ahlen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Holst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wagrain FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
