Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Wagrain FC's Ben Schmidt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben Schmidt in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominic Gross saved Wenisbuch FSV from getting behind. Christian Milch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Christian Milch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th match minute, Wenisbuch FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morten Hormes to maneuver through the defense. Christian Milch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dominic Gross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominic Gross came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Wagrain FC's Christian Milch. But to his dismay, Christian Milch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Schmidt in the 28th minute of play forced Wenisbuch FSV's goalkeeper Dominic Gross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ben Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Christian Milch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wagrain FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Milch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th match minute, Wenisbuch FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Uwe Salmutter to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Wenisbuch FSV's goalkeeper Dominic Gross had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Milch. Christian Milch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dominic Gross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Milch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Dominic Gross made a huge save. After some careless play in the Wenisbuch FSV defense, Lars Schützer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dominic Gross. The Wenisbuch FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dominic Gross should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Schreiner was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ben Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wagrain FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ben Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominic Gross breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 72 minutes, Christian Milch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wagrain FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Milch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Wenisbuch FSV booed when Wagrain FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Schützer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Schreiner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wenisbuch FSV's Sebastian Schreiner got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Schreiner in the 86th minute of play forced Wagrain FC's goalkeeper Robin Holst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wagrain FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
