Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcus Tetzloff got the match started through his kick off. When Torsten Ivanschitz came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Knopflitz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torsten Ivanschitz couldn't finish the play. Niclas Rau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Julian Ziffzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Tetzloff in the 8th minute of play forced Knopflitz's goalkeeper Julian Ziffzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Ziffzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Tetzloff in the 12th minute of play. Boris Busse charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Busse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Gleinach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Busse to maneuver through the defense. After 18 minutes of play, Knopflitz's Tobias Kupke made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wolfgang-Bernd Staubach was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Gleinach booed when Knopflitz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Schüten didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Stephan-Andreas Cronen fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knopflitz's protests and gave Stephan-Andreas Cronen a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Knopflitz got a freekick which was hit by Stephan-Andreas Cronen. In the 24th match minute, Gleinach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jost Hörtnagel to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Tobias Kupke made a precise shot to the right of Wolfgang-Bernd Staubach. Gleinach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 31 played minutes Gleinach got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Hoff. Torsten Ivanschitz struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Wolfgang-Bernd Staubach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knopflitz. Wolfgang-Bernd Staubach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Kupke, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Tobias Kupke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Knopflitz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 47th match minute, Knopflitz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Schüten to maneuver through the defense. In the 49thth minute of the game Marcus Tetzloff who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knopflitz's Julian Ziffzer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torsten Ivanschitz was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Marcus Tetzloff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tobias Kupke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wolfgang-Bernd Staubach having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Gleinach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Wehlmann to maneuver through the defense. Wolfgang-Bernd Staubach came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Knopflitz's Tobias Kupke. But to his dismay, Tobias Kupke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Niclas Rau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronny Barth's late challenge caught a Knopflitz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronny Barth helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gleinach getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ronny Barth hit a great ball. Claus Schriebl took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wolfgang-Bernd Staubach. Gleinach's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Torsten Ivanschitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Knopflitz's zone, Niclas Rau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Ziffzer came out of the goal and Niclas Rau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niclas Rau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Julian Ziffzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Ziffzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Rau in the 93rd minute of play. If Marcus Tetzloff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
