Claus Schriebl hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Peter Paepke kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torsten Ivanschitz in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmar Engbertz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oberradl FC's Helmar Engbertz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Kupke in the 16th minute of play. Roland Schüten charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Schüten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Oberradl FC booed when Knopflitz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Schüten didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kai-Uwe Bande came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Oberradl FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kai-Uwe Bande couldn't finish the play. Philipp Sprenger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Torsten Ivanschitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Ivanschitz in the 34th minute of play forced Oberradl FC's goalkeeper Helmar Engbertz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kai-Uwe Bande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philipp Sprenger was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Oberradl FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Torsten Ivanschitz made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Oberradl FC's Jonas-Andreas Gotthard got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Oberradl FC's zone, Tobias Kupke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helmar Engbertz came out of the goal and Tobias Kupke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd match minute, Oberradl FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas-Andreas Gotthard to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the game, Jochen Wering was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oberradl FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knopflitz the free kick. Jochen Wering hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match Knopflitz got a corner. Oberradl FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kai-Uwe Schwickart ran over to the corner to take the kick. Knopflitz's Julian Ziffzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kai-Uwe Bande in the 73rd minute of play. Christian Hillerzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Julian Ziffzer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philipp Sprenger went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Oberradl FC booed when Knopflitz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Ivanschitz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
