Ralf Schleiermacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justus Born, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Justus Born had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Kral FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Vollmari. Sergio Vollmari kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Alexander Burkhardt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Justus Born's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ralf Schleiermacher was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Alexander Burkhardt scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ralf Schleiermacher, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Magnus Kellner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Burkhardt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Schleiermacher having to interfere. Frederik Reinke charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frederik Reinke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Bernhardshof FSV got a freekick which was hit by Frederik Reinke. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Magnus Kellner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Leon Icking tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The nice shot from Justus Born in the 57thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ralf Schleiermacher had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Justus Born made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 67thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ralf Schleiermacher would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 70 minutes into the game, Alexander Burkhardt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ralf Schleiermacher. Alexander Burkhardt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Karsten Melkko kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Burkhardt in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralf Schleiermacher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexander Burkhardt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Kral FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Kral FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kral FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
