Andre-Yann Voß received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Kevin Karhoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Finkenstein's Sebastian Ramusch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wolfgang-Bernd Pausch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oberperwend FC's Wolfgang-Bernd Pausch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis-Maurice Kühn in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis-Maurice Kühn in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wolfgang-Bernd Pausch saved Oberperwend FC from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Dennis-Maurice Kühn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wolfgang-Bernd Pausch. Oberperwend FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dennis-Maurice Kühn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sebastian Ramusch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wolfgang-Bernd Pausch having to interfere. After 32 minutes of play, Finkenstein's Dennis-Maurice Kühn made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wolfgang-Bernd Pausch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dennis-Maurice Kühn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wolfgang-Bernd Pausch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Andre-Yann Voß kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Dennis-Maurice Kühn scored 0-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wolfgang-Bernd Pausch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wolfgang-Bernd Pausch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis-Maurice Kühn's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis-Maurice Kühn to make the kick off. Sebastian Ramuschs short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Wolfgang-Bernd Pausch to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Dennis-Maurice Kühn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wolfgang-Bernd Pausch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Ramusch in the 64th minute. In the 70th minute, Tim Grytz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Tim Grytz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oberperwend FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Grytz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevin Karhoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 played minutes Oberperwend FC got a freekick which was hit by Nikolaus Rotheuler. In the 96th minute, Robert Mokros sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Oberperwend FC's Wolfgang-Bernd Pausch didn't even have to move. Finkenstein played a much better game than Oberperwend FC and deserved their victory. The Oberperwend FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
