Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Shelby1's Robin Ibertsberger started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Shelby1's Fabio Mandl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederik Strunk in the 5th minute of play. Frederik Strunk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Mandl having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC XALKO's zone, Robin Ibertsberger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sascha Wirth came out of the goal and Robin Ibertsberger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Mandl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederik Strunk in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Ibertsberger in the 24th minute of play forced FC XALKO's goalkeeper Sascha Wirth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hartmut Deuss hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of Shelby1 booed when FC XALKO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolas Haslehner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shelby1's Klaudius Boymanns couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC XALKO. In the 35th minute, Klaus Parkoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shelby1 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Sascha Wirth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Ibertsberger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes of play, Shelby1's Klaus Parkoz made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sascha Wirth was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th match minute, FC XALKO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolas Haslehner to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 45 minutes, Robin Ibertsberger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shelby1's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Ibertsberger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederik Strunk to make the kick off. FC XALKO's Sascha Wirth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Ibertsberger in the 51st minute of play. Robin Ibertsberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sascha Wirth having to interfere. Klaus Parkoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Ibertsberger in the 63rd minute of play forced FC XALKO's goalkeeper Sascha Wirth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Klaus Parkoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sascha Wirth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Schachner hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Sascha Wirth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Ibertsberger, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Sascha Wirth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Ibertsberger in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Klaus Parkoz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sascha Wirth was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The supporters of FC XALKO booed when Shelby1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Schachner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th match minute, FC XALKO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan-Andreas Büge to maneuver through the defense. Sascha Wirth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaus Parkoz in the 83rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Robin Ibertsberger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sascha Wirth was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Robin Ibertsberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sascha Wirth having to interfere. Fabio Mandl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederik Strunk, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Sergio Seidl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Shelby1 had won after a very even match.
