Kilian Manninger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Philipp Hassenrück got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andre Burzloff charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andre Burzloff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice moves Marco Zimmermann could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Kilian Manninger however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, David Hartmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haid's supporters rose to their feet, but David Hartmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Felix Kopinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If David Hartmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Zimmermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philipp Hassenrück in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kilian Manninger saved Haid from getting behind. After having played for 28 minutes, Philipp Hassenrück managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Birnbaum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philipp Hassenrück was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, FC Birnbaum's goal looked a bit too open when David Hartmann came free, but Jan-Felix Kopinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Haid booed when FC Birnbaum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastian Wintergerst didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marco Zimmermann came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FC Birnbaum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Zimmermann couldn't finish the play. After 34 played minutes Haid got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Krone. Kilian Manninger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philipp Hassenrück in the 35th minute of play. Kilian Manninger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Zimmermann in the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Haid's goalkeeper Kilian Manninger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Zimmermann. If David Hartmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Philipp Hassenrück came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the FC Birnbaum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philipp Hassenrück couldn't finish the play. Haid's Kilian Manninger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Haid from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Kilian Manninger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Zimmermann in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Haid's Martin Posch got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Marco Zimmermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Haid got a freekick which was hit by Martin Posch. After 63 minutes, Marco Zimmermann made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Haid's Kilian Manninger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kilian Manninger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Zimmermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 69 played minutes FC Birnbaum got a freekick which was hit by Thorben Gerlach. With his leg Jan-Felix Kopinski managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Haid's David Hartmann fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jan-Felix Kopinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre Mothe in the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of Haid booed when FC Birnbaum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Mackenstein didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Hartmann got free with Jan-Felix Kopinski in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haid's Kilian Manninger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philipp Hassenrück in the 89th minute of play. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Philipp Hassenrück sped through Haid's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kilian Manninger. If Marco Zimmermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that FC Birnbaum were the better team. FC Birnbaum's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
