Jochen Gerstemeier started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Tibor Boschweski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strettweg's supporters rose to their feet, but Tibor Boschweski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Schennach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lars Lazu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochen Gerstemeier in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, one of Strettweg:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marcel Bäuschlein blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Schennach having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Till Pöck in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Lazu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ralf-Willy Weichsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Schennach having to interfere. Jochen Gerstemeier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Lazu having to interfere. When Till Pöck came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Dirnberg FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Till Pöck couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Dirnberg FSV booed when Strettweg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Erik Schmit didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 played minutes, Dirnberg FSV's Rene Katzer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lars Lazu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dirnberg FSV reached it. Tibor Boschweski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dirnberg FSV's zone, Urs Miner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Schennach came out of the goal and Urs Miner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcel Bäuschlein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ralf-Willy Weichsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 minutes of play, Strettweg's Ralf-Willy Weichsel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Schennach was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tibor Boschweski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lars Lazu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jochen Gerstemeier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tibor Boschweski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 minutes, Bernhard Pöck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dirnberg FSV and the Strettweg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Markus Fuchs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Strettweg's Tibor Boschweski got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Fuchs in the 66th minute of play forced Dirnberg FSV's goalkeeper Simon Schennach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tibor Boschweski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Simon Schennach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Strettweg's Lars Lazu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Strettweg from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Strettweg's Lars Lazu got control of the ball when Till Pöck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tibor Boschweski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Schennach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Boschweski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tibor Boschweski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Simon Schennach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rene Katzer fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dirnberg FSV's protests and gave Rene Katzer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, one of Dirnberg FSV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dirnberg FSV. The referee gave Strettweg a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tibor Boschweski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dirnberg FSV's Simon Schennach. 2-1. After having played for 92 minutes, Tibor Boschweski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strettweg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibor Boschweski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ralf-Willy Weichsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ralf-Willy Weichsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Schennach having to interfere. Strettweg's Urs Miner got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Strettweg's Tibor Boschweski got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Strettweg had played much better football throughout.
