If Vincent Paulmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils Wieberneit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Karl Pautsch made a huge save. In the 13th minute Leonard Bachmeier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Pautsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Pautsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Bachmeier in the 20th minute of play. Simon Seisler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Paulmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th match minute, Hikersberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steffen Hecking to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Paulmann in the 29th minute of play forced Wienerberg's goalkeeper Simon Seisler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Leonard Bachmeier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Kurt Rohrig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Seisler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wienerberg's Simon Seisler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Rohrig in the 38th minute of play. Simon Seisler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Paulmann in the 40th minute of the match. Wienerberg's Nils Wieberneit got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nils Wieberneit fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wienerberg's protests and gave Nils Wieberneit a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hikersberg booed when Wienerberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Wieberneit didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Hikersberg were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

48 minutes into the match, Hikersberg's Lars Sondermann broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vincent Paulmann to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Leonard Bachmeier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wienerberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Bachmeier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Pautsch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Wienerberg's zone, Vincent Paulmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Seisler came out of the goal and Vincent Paulmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vincent Paulmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Rohrig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincent Paulmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Seisler having to interfere. Simon Seisler made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Kurt Rohrig sent off a good shot on target. Simon Seisler was a little too slow when Vincent Paulmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-2. Karl Pautsch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Bachmeier in the 76th minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, Hikersberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Gabriel to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Leonard Bachmeier notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Hikersberg's Karl Pautsch. Karl Pautsch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 93 minutes of play, Wienerberg's Leonard Bachmeier made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Pautsch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
