Tino Rose might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Bach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tino Rose ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steve Sieger in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Bach saved Reautz from getting behind. Malte Wollbrinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Claus Steckamp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malte Wollbrinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Leon Bach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Malte Wollbrinck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Bach was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. If Malte Wollbrinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Bach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Sieger in the 33rd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Lankowitz's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Mazur came free, but Gordon Pürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Mazur in the 39th minute of play forced Lankowitz's goalkeeper Gordon Pürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Malte Wollbrinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Bach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reautz's Leon Bach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Sieger in the 47th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Ingo Ebersbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Malte Wollbrinck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gordon Pürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael-Peter Meinl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Hansjörg Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reautz's supporters rose to their feet, but Hansjörg Gerber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gordon Pürk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hansjörg Gerber in the 58th minute of play forced Lankowitz's goalkeeper Gordon Pürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reautz's Leon Bach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Reautz from getting a goal against them. Lankowitz's Steve Sieger got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Lankowitz got a freekick which was hit by Malte Wollbrinck. In the 69th minute, Steve Sieger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon Bach was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 76th minute, Malte Wollbrinck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lankowitz booed when Reautz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingo Ebersbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steve Sieger's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Leon Bach skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Michael-Peter Meinl charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael-Peter Meinl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Michael-Peter Meinl hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Claus Steckamp fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lankowitz's protests and gave Claus Steckamp a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Reautz booed when Lankowitz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claus Steckamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gordon Pürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Mazur in the 87th minute of play. Gordon Pürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Mazur in the 90th minute of the match. Michael-Peter Blum hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Leon Bach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Wollbrinck in the 98th minute of play. Lankowitz played a much better game than Reautz and deserved their victory. The Reautz players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
