Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Malte Wollbrinck kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Sieger in the 7th minute of play forced FC Ulan Bator's goalkeeper Simon Brandl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th match minute, FC Ulan Bator was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans-Peter Baston to maneuver through the defense. If Steve Sieger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Gottwalz kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Malte Wollbrinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Simon Brandl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malte Wollbrinck in the 18th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Malte Wollbrinck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Brandl. FC Ulan Bator's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Malte Wollbrinck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Claus Steckamp hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Steve Sieger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Brandl. FC Ulan Bator's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steve Sieger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Steve Sieger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lankowitz's supporters rose to their feet, but Steve Sieger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Brandl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steve Sieger in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Brandl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 39 played minutes FC Ulan Bator got a freekick which was hit by Uwe Zingler. Steve Sieger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ulan Bator's zone, Steve Sieger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Brandl came out of the goal and Steve Sieger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steve Sieger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wolfgang-Bernd Unterberger to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Steve Sieger made a precise shot to the right of Simon Brandl. FC Ulan Bator's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 59 minutes into the match, Lankowitz's Steve Sieger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Brandl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Malte Wollbrinck might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simon Brandl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malte Wollbrinck ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Malte Wollbrinck in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Brandl saved FC Ulan Bator from getting behind. Malte Wollbrinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Simon Brandl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steve Siegers short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Simon Brandl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to FC Ulan Bator getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Otto Seiderer hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Malte Wollbrinck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simon Brandl was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. If Malte Wollbrinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Brandl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Wollbrinck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steve Sieger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Simon Brandl made a huge save. Steve Sieger in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Simon Brandl, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Simon Brandl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Wollbrinck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lankowitz played a much better game than FC Ulan Bator and deserved their victory. The FC Ulan Bator players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
