After a defensive mix-up in Laubschachen FC's zone, Dennis Sandkühler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Nicolas Clopp came out of the goal and Dennis Sandkühler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon Ruhnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Volker Klimbacher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th match minute, Laubschachen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Winkelmann to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Volker Klimbacher in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Nicolas Clopp saved Laubschachen FC from getting behind. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laubschachen FC's goalkeeper Jan-Nicolas Clopp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan-Nicolas Clopp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Ruhnau's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If Volker Klimbacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Volker Klimbacher fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moosham's protests and gave Volker Klimbacher a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Moosham getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Volker Klimbacher hit a great ball. If Volker Klimbacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute, Simon Ruhnau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Moosham's Simon Ruhnau in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laubschachen FC's goalie prevented a goal. Waldemar Hantke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ken Webel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Laubschachen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Volker Klimbacher came free, but Jan-Nicolas Clopp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Volker Klimbacher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Nicolas Clopp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Moosham were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waldemar Hantke was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Simon Ruhnau recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jan-Nicolas Clopp. Simon Ruhnau showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Simon Ruhnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Nicolas Clopp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Volker Klimbacher in the 61st minute. Simon Ruhnau was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 64th minute Simon Ruhnau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Nicolas Clopp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute of the match Robin Kindel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Nicolas Clopp showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ken Webel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen-Julian Sonntag in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Laubschachen FC's goalkeeper Jan-Nicolas Clopp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
