The Lenberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tommy Abt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lenberg's Teobald Kiewra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Jacobs in the 28th minute of play. Jonas Grabner might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobald Kiewra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Grabner ran back to his position shaking his head. Teobald Kiewra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Jacobs in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Hofrichter came free, but Dario Divis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Tommy Abt managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Björn Jacobs made a kick off. Johann Schaaf in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dario Divis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benjamin Hofrichter struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Dario Divis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lenberg. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United's zone, Tommy Abt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Divis came out of the goal and Tommy Abt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
