Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Wenjapons's Rouven Heillek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Neutal's Julius-Lasse Junglas got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The supporters of Wenjapons booed when Neutal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius-Lasse Junglas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Bernd Mallinger notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Neutal's Jörn Dorazil. Jörn Dorazil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 22 played minutes Neutal got a freekick which was hit by Jörg Braun. 23 minutes into the match, Neutal's goal looked a bit too open when Bernd Mallinger came free, but Jörn Dorazil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernd Mallinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jörn Dorazil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helge Christe struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Tom-Lukas Strunck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neutal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörg Braun in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom-Lukas Strunck saved Wenjapons from getting behind. Wenjapons's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jörg Braun 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Julius-Lasse Junglas charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julius-Lasse Junglas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st match minute, Neutal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julius-Lasse Junglas to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jörg Braun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tom-Lukas Strunck was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jörg Braun to strike the kick off in the second half. Rouven Heillek charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rouven Heillek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, Wenjapons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rouven Heillek to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the game, Helge Christe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neutal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wenjapons the free kick. The supporters of Wenjapons booed when Neutal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Christe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Wenjapons's Hans-Peter Raimann tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Wenjapons's Hans-Peter Raimann couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Neutal. If Helge Christe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tom-Lukas Strunck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörg Braun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wenjapons were furious when Hans-Peter Raimann was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 72 minutes into the game, one of Wenjapons:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tom-Lukas Strunck had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Christoph-Felix Kalt's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jörg Braun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tom-Lukas Strunck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neutal's Matthias Wiedemann got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Helge Christe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wenjapons's Tom-Lukas Strunck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörg Braun in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wenjapons's zone, Helge Christe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom-Lukas Strunck came out of the goal and Helge Christe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Helge Christe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jörg Braun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom-Lukas Strunck having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Helge Christe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tom-Lukas Strunck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörg Braun in the 95th minute of the match. Chants of Wenjapons echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Neutal had held the ball for most of the match.
