Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Thomas Wolf made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as Psien's Thomas Wolf slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clemens Ballik. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Psien's Thomas Wolf got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Peter Kamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, Peter Kamp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frankenau FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Psien the free kick. Peter Kamp hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Darius Haar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Thomas Wolf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Westrich hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Psien's Sascha Bickert tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frankenau FC's goalkeeper Clemens Ballik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Frankenau FC's Karl Westrich got a free kick in the 29th minute. Raphael Deck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Markus Blau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Deck in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Knabel in the 40th minute of play forced Psien's goalkeeper Markus Blau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Peter Kamp was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. In the 42nd match minute, Frankenau FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Kamp to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raphael Deck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darius Haar in the 51st minute of play forced Frankenau FC's goalkeeper Clemens Ballik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Wolf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemens Ballik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 59 played minutes Frankenau FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Knabel. In the 60th minute of the match Sascha Bickert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clemens Ballik skillfully saved the ball. Darius Haar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Psien's Darius Haar got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Psien got a freekick which was hit by Sascha Bickert. Clemens Ballik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Wolf in the 70th minute of play. Darius Haar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darius Haar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Clemens Ballik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 played minutes, Psien's Justus Strunk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clemens Ballik came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Psien reached it. The supporters of Psien booed when Frankenau FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Piater didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frankenau FC's Clemens Ballik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom-Lukas Strelzing in the 96th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
