Clemens Ballik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Musser in the 19th minute of play. If Albert Schmitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. Clemens Ballik was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albert Schmitt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, FC Dunkelbunt's Alex Musser made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clemens Ballik was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Alex Musser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frankenau FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dunkelbunt the free kick. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Knabel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hartmut Aigner was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
