In the 18th minute Björn Roth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Finkenrath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Juhr took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Björn Finkenrath. Hellmonsodt FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Björn Finkenrath breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Björn Finkenrath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Krückmann in the 34th minute of play. Björn Roth struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Björn Finkenrath didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gritschach FSV. In the 45th minute, Oliver Krückmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
