The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jo Liebherr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Opgen-Rhein in the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of Scwl booed when Sattledt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Schellenberger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jo Liebherr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Opgen-Rhein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, Sattledt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Weiler to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Adam Brand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scwl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Brand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Opgen-Rhein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Liebherr having to interfere. Jo Liebherr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Günter Schneider in the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sattledt's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thilo Ulbricht was slow to take the kick. During this time Scwl's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Scwl's corner Thilo Ulbricht fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Enno Mayer quite easily take care of the ball. Morten Schreyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enno Mayer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Brand's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Scwl were awarded a corner. Thilo Ulbricht went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 45th minute Adam Brand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enno Mayer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michael Opgen-Rhein to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Scwl's zone, Günter Schneider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jo Liebherr came out of the goal and Günter Schneider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Weiler kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Sattledt's Enno Mayer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morten Schreyer in the 59th minute of play. Thilo Ulbricht hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Andreas Heyse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scwl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sattledt the free kick. The supporters of Sattledt booed when Scwl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Heyse didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Michael Schellenberger sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Scwl's Jo Liebherr didn't even have to move. Adam Brand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enno Mayer having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Brand in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enno Mayer saved Sattledt from getting behind. If Michael Opgen-Rhein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enno Mayer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Brand in the 83rd minute of the match. Michael Opgen-Rhein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes, Adam Brand made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sattledt's Enno Mayer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Morten Schreyer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Enno Mayer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Adam Brand notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Sattledt's Enno Mayer. Enno Mayer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Scwl's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
