Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jan-Hendrik Umlauf took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Rettenbachl FSV's Joshua Hofheinz in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Edelseeberg's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Edelseeberg's zone, Jan-Hendrik Umlauf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Lakos came out of the goal and Jan-Hendrik Umlauf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Rettenbachl FSV's goalkeeper Matt Klöck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Steffen. After 19 played minutes Rettenbachl FSV got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Hofheinz. Arthur Veighand's late challenge caught a Edelseeberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arthur Veighand helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, Edelseeberg's David Platen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Matt Klöck. Rettenbachl FSV's Joshua Hofheinz got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dominik Lakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Hendrik Umlauf in the 31st minute of play. Sven Steffen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matt Klöck having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Steffen got free with Matt Klöck in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, Edelseeberg's goal looked a bit too open when Joshua Hofheinz came free, but Dominik Lakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
With a little luck, Edelseeberg's Dominik Lakos got control of the ball when Joshua Hofheinz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florian Reiners fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matt Klöck having to interfere. If Robin Schöttel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven Steffen might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matt Klöck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven Steffen ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the game, Robin Schöttel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Matt Klöck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Joshua Hofheinz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominik Lakos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. If Joshua Hofheinz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes Edelseeberg got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Eberhart. 81 minutes into the match, Joshua Hofheinz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Edelseeberg's Dominik Lakos. Dominik Lakos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Dominik Lakos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sven Steffen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edelseeberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Steffen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matt Klöck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
