Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Torsten Lembke started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Vorort booed when Nierath was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Til Wiegmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Torsten Lembke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torsten Lembke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulrich Büssinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes Vorort got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Zommer. Kai Struck charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kai Struck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 32 minutes into the game, one of Nierath:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 39 minutes into the match, Vorort's goal looked a bit too open when Til Wiegmann came free, but Leon Zerressen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vorort's zone, Til Wiegmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Zerressen came out of the goal and Til Wiegmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Vorort's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrich Büssinger came free, but Leon Zerressen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Ulrich Büssinger made the kick off in the second half. When Vorort's Gernot Wölfer in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nierath's goalie prevented a goal. Leon Zerressen made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Til Wiegmann sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrich Büssinger in the 57th minute of play forced Vorort's goalkeeper Leon Zerressen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulrich Büssinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Leon Zerressen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Lembke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Til Wiegmann was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Nierath's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Torsten Lembke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Florian Schwärzler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vorort's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nierath the free kick. In the 80th minute, Florian Schwärzler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Til Wiegmann in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Zerressen saved Vorort from getting behind. Ralf Voss struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Leon Zerressen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nierath. Ulrich Büssinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Leon Zerressen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Patrik Zommer fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vorort's protests and gave Patrik Zommer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Vorort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Zommer to maneuver through the defense. Ulrich Büssinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Zerressen having to interfere.
