Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karl-Heinz Gölz started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Björn Parlik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Obereinwald FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Björn Parlik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Teichmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute Karl-Heinz Gölz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Steiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes, Dieter Myszka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Obereinwald FSV and the FC Matzen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dieter Myszka hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Karl-Heinz Gölz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Steiner having to interfere. When Kim Wattmann came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the FC Matzen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kim Wattmann couldn't finish the play. Kim Wattmann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Nils Steiner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Markus Becker kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Kim Wattmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Nils Steiner made a huge save. Karl-Heinz Gölz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Steiner having to interfere. Obereinwald FSV's Nils Steiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Heinz Gölz in the 21st minute of play. Kim Wattmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Karl-Heinz Gölz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Obereinwald FSV's zone, Karl-Heinz Gölz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Steiner came out of the goal and Karl-Heinz Gölz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kim Wattmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Nils Steiner made a huge save. Björn Parlik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marc-Joel Schwärzler hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Volkmar Umbach was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When FC Matzen's Stefan Strobl in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Obereinwald FSV's goalie prevented a goal. Björn Parlik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Teichmann having to interfere. Nils Steiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Gölz in the 57th minute of play. Kim Wattmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Obereinwald FSV's goalkeeper Nils Steiner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nils Steiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc-Joel Schwärzler in the 62nd minute of play. Kim Wattmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Steiner having to interfere. If Karl-Heinz Gölz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 76 minutes in the game, Philipp Hocker fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jan Teichmann having to interfere. Björn Parlik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jan Teichmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Obereinwald FSV's Jens Bodmer got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Karl-Heinz Gölz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Matzen fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when FC Matzen's Karl-Heinz Gölz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When FC Matzen's Karl-Heinz Gölz in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Obereinwald FSV's goalie prevented a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Matzen had played much better football throughout.
