The SK Ternitz 2007 fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when SK Ternitz 2007's Nino Katzer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tristan Recktor kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SK Ternitz 2007! Marc-Joel Messerschmidt shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. SK Ternitz 2007's Karl-Heinz Flöter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Recktor in the 17th minute of play. Karl-Heinz Flöter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konstantin Schlagbauer in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Feldkirchen's Damian Pröger got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 21 played minutes SK Ternitz 2007 got a freekick which was hit by Georg Groß. Karl-Heinz Flöter was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan-Nicolas Lorenz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. The supporters of Feldkirchen booed when SK Ternitz 2007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Wenning didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Damian Pröger put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Karl-Heinz Flöter. Damian Albrecht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nino Katzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Recktor in the 43rd minute of play forced SK Ternitz 2007's goalkeeper Karl-Heinz Flöter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Wenning hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nino Katzer made a kick off. SK Ternitz 2007's Karl-Heinz Flöter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Pröger in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nino Katzer in the 54th minute of play forced Feldkirchen's goalkeeper Damian Albrecht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SK Ternitz 2007's Karl-Heinz Flöter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Pröger in the 55th minute of play. Nino Katzer might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damian Albrecht. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nino Katzer ran back to his position shaking his head. Damian Albrecht made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nino Katzer in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Feldkirchen's Konstantin Schlagbauer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Heinz Flöter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. A collision led to Feldkirchen getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Marc-Joel Messerschmidt hit a great ball. The supporters of Feldkirchen booed when SK Ternitz 2007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Groß didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Feldkirchen's Dominik Strutz got a free kick in the 70th minute. Karl-Heinz Flöter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristan Recktor in the 72nd minute of play. When Nino Katzer came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the SK Ternitz 2007 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nino Katzer couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SK Ternitz 2007 booed when Feldkirchen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Strutz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Feldkirchen's zone, Nino Katzer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Albrecht came out of the goal and Nino Katzer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tim Wenning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Tim Wenning fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Nino Katzer sped through Feldkirchen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damian Albrecht. In the 90th minute, Jan-Nicolas Lorenz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, SK Ternitz 2007's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Nicolas Lorenz came free, but Karl-Heinz Flöter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SK Ternitz 2007's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Feldkirchen had won, even though SK Ternitz 2007 had held more of the ball.
