Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jürgen Hörtnagel started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Lustenau FSV booed when Ruppersdorf FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Lensing didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lustenau FSV's Jürgen Hörtnagel in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ruppersdorf FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Andreas Wellmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Häming came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Lustenau FSV's Jürgen Hörtnagel. But to his dismay, Jürgen Hörtnagel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Felix Wimmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Häming having to interfere. Dennis Häming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jürgen Hörtnagel in the 24th minute of play. Ralf Schreier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Axten having to interfere. Dennis Häming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernd Winand in the 31st minute of play. Bastian Axten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Wellmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Felix Wimmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ruppersdorf FC! In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Lustenau FSV. Michael Marchl stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dennis Häming. 0-2. In the 44th minute Patric Wehlmann suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Henk Kösters's late challenge caught a Lustenau FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henk Kösters helped the player get up and apologised. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 54thth minute of the game Andreas Wellmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lustenau FSV's Bastian Axten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Wimmer struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Dennis Häming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lustenau FSV. Kilian Gehring's late challenge caught a Lustenau FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kilian Gehring helped the player get up and apologised. Kilian Gehring hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Bernd Winand kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to Lustenau FSV getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mirko Grasser hit a great ball. Ralf Schreier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Ralf Schreier made a precise shot to the right of Bastian Axten. Lustenau FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ralf Schreier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Wellmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Axten having to interfere. When Ruppersdorf FC's Ralf Schreier in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lustenau FSV's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lustenau FSV's zone, Andreas Wellmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bastian Axten came out of the goal and Andreas Wellmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
