Dirk Hesmert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dennis Born in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Per Gumpfer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dennis Born struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Per Gumpfer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaisersberg FC. After a rather tough play, Steinerberg's Kay Dalpiaz got a free kick in the 9th minute. Dirk Hesmert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per Gumpfer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dennis Born showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Guido Vicktor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Meyer in the 22nd minute of the match. Guido Vicktor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guido Vicktor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from René Schmitzberger in the 34th minute of play. When René Schmitzberger came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Steinerberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that René Schmitzberger couldn't finish the play. Guido Vicktor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Meyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Guido Vicktor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from René Schmitzberger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fynn Umlauf hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 51 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kaisersberg FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erik Bauer was slow to take the kick. During this time Steinerberg's players had a chance to rest. Kay Dalpiaz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kaisersberg FC's goalkeeper Guido Vicktor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Steinerberg were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Kaisersberg FC booed when Steinerberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uwe Franke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dominik Meyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per Gumpfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Hesmert in the 70th minute of play. Steinerberg's Per Gumpfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Hesmert in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kaisersberg FC's zone, Dominik Meyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Vicktor came out of the goal and Dominik Meyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Dominik Meyer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steinerberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominik Meyer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Steinerberg's zone, Dirk Hesmert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per Gumpfer came out of the goal and Dirk Hesmert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Born fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Gumpfer having to interfere. Fynn Umlauf charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fynn Umlauf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 98 played minutes Kaisersberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Fynn Umlauf. Guido Vicktor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Meyer in the 99th minute of play. The Steinerberg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
