Leon Hermann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Kevin Christe made a huge save. A collision led to Soboth FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Mirko Schöner hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Untermieger FSV's Marcus Finkenrath broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 21st minute, Leon Hermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marc-André Wollbrinck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Christe having to interfere. Sascha Kellner kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Untermieger FSV's Marc-André Wollbrinck got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Hermann got free with Kevin Christe in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Soboth FC's zone, Leon Hermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Christe came out of the goal and Leon Hermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kevin Christe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marc-André Wollbrinck in the 32nd minute. Cedric Huppert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Krebs having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wolf Weinstok during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Soboth FC booed when Untermieger FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wolf Weinstok didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedric Huppert in the 40th minute of play forced Untermieger FSV's goalkeeper Jonas Krebs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Hermann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Kevin Christe made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leon Hermann was the one to do the kick off. After 59 minutes, Axel Vossen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Untermieger FSV and the Soboth FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute Cedric Huppert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Krebs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes Untermieger FSV got a freekick which was hit by Wolf Weinstok. Leon Hermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Christe having to interfere. Kevin Christe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Hermann in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, one of Soboth FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Untermieger FSV a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcus Finkenrath, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Soboth FC's Kevin Christe. 1-1. 93 minutes into the match, Untermieger FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Cedric Huppert came free, but Jonas Krebs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Krebs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedric Huppert in the 99th minute of play.
