Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Matthias Gerat made the kick off which started today's match. Matthias Gerat received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julien-Nils Rendelmann came out and tried to block the shot, but Matthias Gerat slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. If Matthias Gerat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Steffen Seelig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andre Moths during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hopfengraben FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Andre Moths hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match Yannik Orlob shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julien-Nils Rendelmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Steffen Seelig might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julius Walhöfer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steffen Seelig ran back to his position shaking his head. Powerdingen's Julius Walhöfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sascha Wittke in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Matthias Gerat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julien-Nils Rendelmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Powerdingen's Urs-Peter Pantel got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Powerdingen's Matthias Gerat dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Julius Walhöfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Seelig in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Powerdingen got a freekick which was hit by Michael Busch. Hopfengraben FC's Steffen Seelig got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julien-Nils Rendelmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Gerat in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sascha Wittke was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Hopfengraben FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urs-Peter Pantel came free, but Julien-Nils Rendelmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julien-Nils Rendelmann came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Powerdingen's Urs-Peter Pantel. But to his dismay, Urs-Peter Pantel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 55 minutes into the match, Hopfengraben FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Gerat came free, but Julien-Nils Rendelmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julius Walhöfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sascha Wittke, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Urs-Peter Pantel made a precise shot to the right of Julien-Nils Rendelmann. Hopfengraben FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Urs-Peter Pantel took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julien-Nils Rendelmann. Julien-Nils Rendelmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Gerat in the 72nd minute of play forced Hopfengraben FC's goalkeeper Julien-Nils Rendelmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Hopfengraben FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Gerat came free, but Julien-Nils Rendelmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 78 minutes, Matthias Gerat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Powerdingen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Gerat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steffen Seelig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Walhöfer having to interfere. Urs-Peter Pantel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julien-Nils Rendelmann having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthias Gerat in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julien-Nils Rendelmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
