Lorenz Kranz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heinz-Dieter Niehammer having to interfere. Kurt Apel charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kurt Apel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ornding's Kurt Apel got a free kick in the 9th minute. Karl-Heinz Bißt took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julien-Nils Rendelmann. Julien-Nils Rendelmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Roland Köhncke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heinz-Dieter Niehammer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sascha Wittke in the 27th minute of the match. If Steffen Seelig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heinz-Dieter Niehammer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sascha Wittke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Köhncke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Hopfengraben FC's Lorenz Kranz got a free kick in the 34th minute. Julien-Nils Rendelmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Bißt in the 43rd minute of play. Julien-Nils Rendelmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Köhncke, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Karl-Heinz Bißt scored 0-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julien-Nils Rendelmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Ornding were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Karl-Heinz Bißt made the kick off in the second half. Steffen Seelig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Heinz-Dieter Niehammer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heinz-Dieter Niehammer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sascha Wittke in the 59th minute of play. Sascha Wittke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tibor Türk kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Heinz-Dieter Niehammer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steffen Seelig, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Julien-Nils Rendelmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Bißt, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Oscar Szüczs hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Karl-Heinz Bißt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. The supporters of Hopfengraben FC booed when Ornding was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Seifert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julien-Nils Rendelmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Heinz Bißt in the 85th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Köhncke got free with Julien-Nils Rendelmann in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the match, Hopfengraben FC's goalkeeper Julien-Nils Rendelmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Köhncke. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Heinz Bißt in the 90th minute of play forced Hopfengraben FC's goalkeeper Julien-Nils Rendelmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, Hopfengraben FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenz Kranz to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Ornding's Julien-Nils Rendelmann threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karl-Heinz Bißt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lorenz Kranz kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Hopfengraben FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ornding's performance. The match ended with a win for Ornding.
