Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Matthias Gerat started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Powerdingen's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Roman Bunischew 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Michael Busch's late challenge caught a Ranach FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Busch helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Powerdingen getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Michael Busch hit a great ball. Jan-Hauke Moths fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Walhöfer having to interfere. If Urs-Peter Pantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Ranach FSV getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Julien Brinkmeier hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Powerdingen's Yannik Orlob broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Urs-Peter Pantel came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Powerdingen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urs-Peter Pantel couldn't finish the play. In the 36thth minute of the game Matthias Gerat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ranach FSV's Steve Domann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1-2 became the score in the 38th minute when Urs-Peter Pantel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Powerdingen's goalkeeper Julius Walhöfer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Hauke Moths. The Powerdingen fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Powerdingen's Urs-Peter Pantel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 51 played minutes Powerdingen got a freekick which was hit by Gregor Brückler. Julius Walhöfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernhardt Reinoehl in the 53rd minute of play. Lars Öllerich-Dawe hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Urs-Peter Pantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes Ranach FSV got a freekick which was hit by Bernhard Kraft. After a defensive mix-up in Powerdingen's zone, Roman Bunischew stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Walhöfer came out of the goal and Roman Bunischew tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Ranach FSV's goalkeeper Steve Domann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urs-Peter Pantel. 84 minutes into the match, Powerdingen's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Hauke Moths came free, but Julius Walhöfer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Matthias Gerat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Domann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Michael Busch was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. After 95 played minutes Ranach FSV got a freekick which was hit by Bernhard Kraft. Powerdingen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
