Pascal Breuer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Robin Ningel. Frederik Klein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Pascal Breuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per Weiss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Zobern FC's zone, Jan-Nicolas Bayer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Wowereit came out of the goal and Jan-Nicolas Bayer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per Weiss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Breuer having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Chris Tözen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabio Wowereit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Tözen in the 22nd minute of the match. Pascal Breuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederik Klein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Frederik Klein notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Seitschik's Pascal Breuer. Pascal Breuer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 35 minutes of play, FC Seitschik's Jan-Nicolas Bayer made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Wowereit was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jan-Nicolas Bayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Wowereit having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, one of Zobern FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fabio Wowereit had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Oliver Siekkötter's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When FC Seitschik's Oliver Siekkötter in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zobern FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Chris Tözen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Wowereit having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Zobern FC's goalkeeper Fabio Wowereit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Tözen. 55 minutes into the game, Jan-Nicolas Bayer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabio Wowereit. Jan-Nicolas Bayer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Frederik Klein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Pascal Breuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Chris Tözen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Seitschik's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Tözen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Wowereit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torsten Silz charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torsten Silz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Torsten Silz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Wowereit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Nicolas Bayer in the 74th minute of the match. When FC Seitschik's Jan-Nicolas Bayer in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Seitschik's Jan-Nicolas Bayer got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chris Tözen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Wowereit having to interfere.
