Werner Burgers's late challenge caught a Graslupp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Leo-Jan Weiler made the kick off in the second half. Hugo Sparla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andi Jakob went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Hans-Jürgen Welser's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helmut Freund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Hugo Sparla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andi Jakob, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Sparla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Berger in the 74th minute. Leo-Jan Weiler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Graslupp were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Stromberg FSV's much stronger midfield.
