Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gregor Seidenfad made the kick off which started today's match. Lasse Engel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kai Hagedorn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Lasse Engel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kai Hagedorn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dornberg FC's René Klare got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kai-Christian Ernesti during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Windhaag FC got a freekick which was hit by Kai-Christian Ernesti. Johannes Stanke kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Georg Schott was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sebastian Walloch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from René Klare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Windhaag FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank-Dieter Lammers to maneuver through the defense. Kai Hagedorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julius Memmert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lasse Engel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julius Memmert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kai Hagedorn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lasse Engel went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When René Klare fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dornberg FC's protests and gave René Klare a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Windhaag FC booed when Dornberg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. René Klare didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Julius Memmert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Hagedorn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 66 minutes on the clock, Johannes Stanke commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 66 minutes into the game, one of Dornberg FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kai Hagedorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Memmert in the 72nd minute of play. When Julius Memmert came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Windhaag FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julius Memmert couldn't finish the play. Maik Behn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastian Walloch came out and tried to block the shot, but Maik Behn slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 75th minute. If Lasse Engel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Lasse Engel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Windhaag FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lasse Engel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kai Hagedorn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maik Behn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Kastener during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Windhaag FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Kastener to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lasse Engel in the 97th minute of play forced Dornberg FC's goalkeeper Kai Hagedorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Windhaag FC had won after a very even match.
