Robert Giese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jonas Bottcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Seidegg fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Seidegg's Steven Göring looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Robert Giese came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Wernhies 08 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Giese couldn't finish the play. Robert Giese might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Bottcher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Giese ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Seidegg's Fynn Franke got a free kick in the 19th minute. Clemens Wilmann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Jonas Bottcher skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Clemens Wilmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hans-Joachim Yuschni came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Seidegg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans-Joachim Yuschni couldn't finish the play. Torben Rosenhagen charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torben Rosenhagen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 42 minutes, Clemens Wilmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wernhies 08's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemens Wilmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Seidegg's Jonas Bottcher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Seidegg from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Clemens Wilmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemens Wilmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Wernhies 08's Michael Malliouris got a free kick in the 55th minute. Lothar Reichel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lothar Reichel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Bottcher having to interfere. Jonas Bottcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Giese in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Seidegg's goal looked a bit too open when Clemens Wilmann came free, but Jonas Bottcher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Bottcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemens Wilmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Hans-Joachim Yuschni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seidegg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wernhies 08 the free kick. In the 90th minute, Hans-Joachim Yuschni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seidegg were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Wernhies 08's much stronger midfield.
